Tim's Newsletter for 11th April

Dear all,
Please find here the link to the All Saints website for the Benefice Easter Day service. Click tomorrow morning on this blue link below and then you will see the 'Easter Day Service' - click on that and the video will appear.
At the bottom of the email you received on 11th April you will find a Word file with the order of service so you can follow. It can be printed off on an A4 sheet if you use both sides.  Why not join in around 10.00am so that you know you are sharing in worship at the same time as others?
NB  After clicking on the Easter Day service link tomorrow you will also see links to the 4 hymns to be sung at various points in the service, as well as a poem called, 'The Comeback'.
Many thanks to Peter Loftus for help in putting the the services online and to Julie Hay for setting up the Zoom facility. Di Loftus will read the lesson on Sunday and Julie will lead the prayers.
At 9am there is a service of Holy Communion on the Church of England Facebook page with Archbishop Justin Welby

Celebrate Easter Sunday at home this year with a service from Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby's kitchen. Readings will be led by Bishop of Dover, the Rt Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin, and Caroline Welby. Theodore Levings, a 10-year-old member of All Saints church in Canterbury, will lead prayers. In common with clergy and people across the Church of England, each were recorded at their homes to observe physical distancing. Watch the full Easter Sunday service on our Facebook page at 9am.

For those not online
If you are in touch with church members on the phone who don't have or can't use the Internet, please do encourage them to look out for TV and radio programmes offering worship and reflection for Easter Day. There is Sunday Worship at 11.25am on BBC1 and Songs of Praise at 1.15pm.
Beware of Fraud (This was a direct emailed warning from my bank HSBC)
'The most recent fraud tactic is to pretend to be from HMRC and offer a goodwill payment from the coronavirus fund. As always, if something feels too good to be true, it probably is – please check who you are dealing with and never share confidential details if you are unsure in any way.'
If you need help by way of doing some local shopping, please do get in touch with me. Or, if you just want to have a chat (or to pray together over the phone) please feel free to call me. Tel. 01723 448351
If for any reason you prefer not to be included on this mailing please just send me an email and I will remove yours from the list. Many thanks.
With blessings and prayers for a glorious Easter!
