Vicar's Newsletter for 19th July

Dear all,

Contained in this email is the link for our Sunday 19th July Benefice service and the latest news for the Hertford Benefice. The preacher is Rt Revd Rod Thomas, Bishop of Maidstone.

Please find below the plans for each of the churches in the benefice. Decisions have been made by agreement between churchwardens and me.

When you do eventually attend your church for worship, we would ask that you kindly follow all the guidance and directions given. This may include not being able to sit in your favourite place due to social distancing of 2m. If you are in the 'at risk' category for Covid 19 or the 'critically at risk' category you are advised to stay at home as much as possible. Please be aware that our services will have a very different feel as we are not allowed to sing at present.

During this time of transition and preparation online worship will continue to be made available on Sundays via the All Saints Hunmanby website. We will endeavour to continue some form of online worship presence even when the churches are back to regular weekly worship, if this is something that many will welcome.

MORNING PRAYER ONLINE
Please note that our regular, live-streamed service of Morning Prayer will recommence this Tuesday 21st July at 9.00am. Also happening on Wednesday and Thursday.

SPRING CAFÉ PLANS

Given the complexities of opening the café for sit-in meals, etc., we are planning to run the Spring Café from 3rd August as a take-away service only. This will be for either collection or (hopefully) delivery. When things return to some kind of new normal, the plan is to open the café again for sit-in drinks and meals. We have no idea when this might be possible. Details of menus and pricing have yet to be devised. Please watch this space!

NEW WINE SUMMER CONFERENCE ONLINE
United Breaks Out runs from 30th July to 3rd August. It is a best attempt to create the atmosphere, teaching, worship, children's and youth venues and fellowship of New Wine's United conference but at home . The programme and much more info is available on http://www.new-wine.org/breaksout
As yet more specific information about who is speaking when, etc., is not available. Access to all events will be through this web page but depending on the celebration, seminar, sofa session or group chosen you will be re-directed to YouTube, Facebook page, Zoom session.
