'SAFE AND SOUND' - online safeguarding training

The Diocese of York’s Safeguarding Team with York Minster invites ministers, parish volunteers and committed church members to take part in a week of online sharing, teaching and learning, with a focus on developing the safeguarding culture that will keep everyone safe and sound in our Diocese and Cathedral. Click Link for details of some of the subjects on offer of how to book. 

 

THIS SATURDAY 12th  10.00am to 11.30am  COFFEE MORNING IN AID OF COASTWATCH - in the Spring Cafe - click Link for details 

All monies raised will help the Filey National Coastwatch. Eyes along the coast helping to save lives.

COFFEE MORNING FOR MISSIONS IN THE SPRING ON SATURDAY 26TH NOVEMBER - 10.00am to 11.30 am

Coffee and cake £2.50.  There will be a bric-a-brac stall, cake stall, etc.  All proceeds to go to Missions. Click link for poster

SINGING GROUP
Every SECOND and FOURTH Tuesday of the month 10.30am till 12 noon. You are welcome to join us to exercise your vocal cords, socialise and enjoy coffee and cake ( as well as keep warm!).  Dates for November are 8th and 22nd

SPRING CAFE: drop-ins welcome when Spring is open

Why not enjoy a drink or more in the outdoor space attached to the Spring Café this week? Plenty of space to bring a friend or even a house group!

 

WELCOME SPACES:

The cafe is one of many places across the borough offering a warm and welcome space. This new initiative ensures that over the coming winter months you will always have the option to come and enjoy friendship in a warm environment where a hot drink is available and should you need it, plus information about coping in these challenging times. Call in to find out more.

From 9.30am Hun-Free Fridge in Spring café

12.15pm - 12.45pm Cafe prayers 

Café open 1.00pm till 3.00pm Knit and natter, plus board games & chat. 

Tuesday 15th November 

Café open from 10.00am—2.00pm 

10.30am - 12 noon Tea, Toast and Chat for Carers 

1.30pm Dance group meets - new members welcome 

Wednesday 16th  

Café open 10.00am - 2.00pm Drinks and cakes available - 

CAMEO meal is 12noon onwards. Set price of £5.50 for 2-course meal. Plus ‘Forget me not’ dementia friendly meal—meets from 11.30am.

Friday 18th  

Spring open 9.00am—1.00pm 

Starts at 11.45am Community meal in Spring café— a  minimum donation of £3 would help towards covering costs—thank you. 

from 1.45pm Hun-Free Fridge (Free food for all to avoid it going to waste) 

Saturday 19th  

9.30am Prayers in church 

 

To make it clear:

SPRING CAFE is open for coffee and light bites at the following times:
Mondays 1.00pm till 3.00pm
Tuesday 10.00am till 2.00pm
Wednesday 10.00am till 2.00pm
Friday 10.00am till 1.30pm 
There may be activities at the same time and on Wednesday a meal at 12 noon

HUN-FREE COMMUNITY FRIDGE:  (Please note - each session will close when all the food has gone)

HunFree the Hunmanby Community Fridge will operate on Monday morning from 9.30am and Friday afternoon from 1.45pm when tea/coffee will be available.
