Vicars Newsletter for 30 August

Dear all,
It has been great to see so many returning to worship together on Sundays. A reminder that names of those attending worship must be recorded and kept for 21 days for the Test and Trace system. Face coverings are now required by law to be worn in places of worship.

HOLY COMMUNION

Please note that Holy Communion will only be received by the congregation in one kind (bread/wafer only). You are asked to follow the direction of a churchwarden/sidesperson and when you receive please return to your seat before removing your face covering to consume. Communion will be administered whilst standing. Kneeling at the communion rail is suspended.

ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETINGS

The deadline for the holding of APCMs this year has been extended by a further month to 30th November.

New Church Representation Rules

The Church Representation Rules have been rewritten this year. They have been simplified with certain details altered to make church oversight less cumbersome. For instance, the minimum requirement of 4 PCC meetings per year has been removed. Sufficient PCC meetings to cover church business is now acceptable.
